| At this point, you will likely have some exciting goals in mind for your business this year. To turn these goals into reality, it’s essential to have a solid plan in place. With a clear roadmap, you’ll be well-equipped to achieve your objectives and reach new heights. Following the example of successful businesses, here’s how to plan to reach your goals. |
| Analyze last year’s data. Before you can know where you’ll go in 2025, take a look at where you’ve been in 2024. How many leads did you generate? Where did those leads come from? What was your lead conversion ratio—how many leads did you need to get before you landed a new customer? When you sold those customers, what was the average revenue you took in per sale? |
| Determine how many leads you need in 2025. Based on your total revenue goal for this year and your average revenue per sale last year, how many customers will you need to get in 2025? Then, based on how many leads you needed to generate last year to get one customer, how many leads will you need to generate this year? Get that number of leads, and you should bring in the number of customers you need to achieve this year’s revenue goal. |
| Determine the things you need to improve. What do you need to do better in order to reach your revenue goal this year? Do you need to improve what you’re doing to generate leads? Do you need to get better at converting those leads into customers? Do you need to get better at closing sales with the customers you convert? Do you need to bring in more revenue per sale? |
| Write down what you’ll do. Put on a piece of paper, in a computer file, or on your phone the things you’re going to do every day, every week, and every month that will improve your performance and lead you to achieving your goals this year. |
| Stay focused. Concentrate on consistently completing these activities every day, every week, and every month. Make it a priority to complete the tasks that your business plan requires. That’s how to make your dream for this year become a reality. |
